BNZ home loan top ups
Need to renovate your home? Topping up your home loan may be an option.
The minimum top-up is $5,000. The special pricing of 1% p.a. will only apply to the top-up for the initial 3-year fixed term period.
You can apply for a BNZ Green Home Loan top-up for eligible upgrades, such as home insulation, ventilation, and heating - or upgrading to an electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

Kiwibank home loan top up
Use a top-up to pay for a renovation or big purchase instead of using higher interest rate credit cards or personal loans. You might be able to pay for it by topping up your existing Kiwibank Home Loan.
The amount you could borrow will depend on how much of your home loan you’ve already paid off, the current value of your home, how much you can afford in repayments and what the top-up is for.
